  • Steering and managing all primary logistics transports for OMV West (barge and RTC) and manage all primary logistics operations and associated costs for OMV in West incl. out trading markets.
  • Managing and optimizing storage supply (own and 3rd party), customer supply, 3rd party supply and refinery supply deliveries, as well as exports and out trading.
  • Managing OMV stock levels in own and 3rd party storages and ensure product availability for sales channels.
  • Executing product flow transports from western refineries to OMV affiliates in different countries and be the single point of contact for refining logistics / dispatching.
  • Being responsible for operational execution, contract management and close cooperation with railways, forwarders and shipping companies.
  • Leading, managing and developing primary logistics operations team, serve as a substitute for primary logistics department manager.
  • Being responsible for coordinating implementation of STO decisions and serve as substitute of logistics representative in STO team, empowered to decide on behalf of Logistics West as well as representing OMV regarding operational topics in front of transport service providers and external transport associations (e.g. Via Donau).
  • Leading projects and initiatives related to improvement of operational and optimization processes within primary logistics.
Your profile
  • University Master Degree/Diploma in the field of Business, Economics or similar.
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in the logistics operational area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong management and technical skills.
  • Great self-organizational skills and a strong drive.
  • Fluency in English.
