
Commercial Legal Counsel - DACH (m/f/d)

- Structuring, negotiating, reviewing and drafting commercial agreements of varying degrees of complexity.
- Serving as lead counsel and directly advising business clients on strategic deals.
- Advising commercial and product teams on the launch of new products and/or services and managing all legal aspects (including identifying and mitigating potential risks).
- Advising on the commercial implications of existing contractual obligations.
- Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and enquiries.
- Serving as a key subject matter expert and strategic adviser to the businesses in relation to legal obligations.
- Assisting in the development and management of risk protection programmes across the company.
- Proactively monitoring and reviewing legislation in order to help ensure accurate and up-to-date inventories of all legal obligations.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and becoming immersed in all aspects of the business within the DACH region.
- Bench-marking competitors, their products and customer flows in order to assist with best business practice suggestions.
- Are you a German or Austrian-qualified lawyer with 5-7 years PQE?
- Do you have strong free drafting and negotiating ability?
- A strong interest in gambling regulations and the gambling industry would be preferable, although previous industry experience not essential.
- Do you have the ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams?
- Are you enthusiastic about taking ownership of projects and become involved proactively in all legal aspects from start to finish?
- Are you keen to make a positive impact on the business and continuously looking for ways to improve existing processes or suggest new processes that will lead to greater efficiencies and productivity?
- Are you proactive with a driven attitude and comfortable liaising with and advising senior stakeholders?
- Are you able to problem solve quickly by making reasoned judgements balancing risks?
- Do you have excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet demanding deadlines?
- Are you comfortable working in a face paced and highly regulated environment?
- Do you have excellent written and oral communication skills?
- Minimum salary €73,100
