Job IntroductionFrequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.About the team: We are a dynamic, agile development team that uses Java as well as many other current technologies and frameworks such as Docker, Spring, Netty, JBehave and Angular.With the test and automation platform developed by us, Frequentis ensures the very high requirements in the safety-critical market. We thus make a significant contribution to the quality and reliability of Frequentis systems.Key Tasks
  • You develop existing and new features and components of our test and automation platform
  • You integrate and use state-of-the-art tools and current technologies from the Java and web environment
  • You contribute as a full member of a dynamic SCRUM team
  • You develop new concepts for automated testing in distributed systems and also implement required interfaces
  • You support company-wide teams in the optimal use of the platform and thus get to know many areas of Frequentis
Key Qualifications
  • You have completed a technical education (HTL/University/University of Applied Sciences) in the field of software engineering
  • You have 2-3 years of professional experience as a Java developer and already have practical experience with distributed systems
  • You are familiar with GIT, Maven, Jenkins and Docker, ideally also with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Linux, Spring, Websocket and REST is advantageous
  • The topics of testing and quality are important to you and you are familiar with test automation tools and methods (e.g. TDD, BDD)
  • You are independent, open-minded and passionate about technical topics and have good command of English
  • You also want to immerse yourself in the world of voice communication such as SIP or RTP and you are interested in safety-critical systems
