You are a hands-on technology enthusiast and understand computer networks and protocols, an expert on Identity and Access Management solutions, and you like to dive into complex configurations, setups, and code occasionally.

- be the trusted advisor in the security products and services offered by Nevis. You will understand the offerings in-depth, including their features, capabilities, and limitations
- work with customers and partners to understand their requirements and align those with Nevis' capabilities
- design tailored security solutions that address the customer needs. You need to be creative and innovative in developing effective and cost-efficient solutions
- perform live demonstrations and workshops of Nevis security products and services to show clients how they work and how they can benefit from them. These demonstrations help clients visualize the solution in action
- conduct proofs-of-concept (PoCs), including hands-on work and coordination between customers, partners, and Nevis
- assist in preparing detailed proposals (RFP, RFI, RFQ) that outline the recommended security solutions from a technical point of view
- provide input and feedback to Engineering and Product Management based on your real-life experience
- build reusable materials that can be shared with the Nevis community. This may include blogs, best practice guidelines, white papers, or configuration templates
- exchange knowledge with customers, partners, and other Nevis professionals
- a Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
- 2-4 years of solid experience working as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Software Architect or similar
- a good understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and protocols such as OAuth2, Open ID Connect, SAML2, Single Sign-On, and LDAP
- experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- a good understanding of computer networks, including load balancers, web application firewalls, DNS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS
- some experience with development languages or technologies such as Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Spring Boot, Flutter, Android/iOS native development is a plus
- experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
- a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
- communication skills in German as a mother tongue or at least C1+
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English
