Then join our accomplished team!Your personal sphere of influence:The Department of History of Christianity and Protestantism in Austria is a sub-unit of the Faculty of Protestant Theology. The vacant position as university assistant (praedoc) serves to strengthen our teaching and research portfolio. We are looking for Protestant theologians with a special interest in working on research questions regarding the History of Christianity.Your future tasks:You will play an active role in the research, teaching and administration of the Institute, i.e:
- You will be involved in research projects and publications regarding the History of Christianity.
- You will work on and complete your dissertation regarding the History of Christianity. We expect you to complete your dissertation agreement within 6-12 months.
- You will participate in doctoral seminars at the Institute.
- You will teach independent courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.
- Completed Master's degree in Protestant Theology or a corresponding degree (the degree certificate must be available by the date of employment at the latest)
- A keen interest in the History of Christianity, a focus on the Early Modern Age is desireable
- The willingness to attend and organize national and international conferences and to work in a team
- A thorough and thoughtful approach
- Advanced IT user skills
