- Joint creation of the steel construction design with the CAD team, taking into account project-specific requirements and actual operating conditions.
- Preparation of static and seismic calculations and reports for various plant components (skids, pipe racks, structures) according to European and American standards.
- Coordination of the CAD team regarding the necessary static and seismic adaptation and optimization of steel structures.
- Node calculations (welds and bolted connections).
- Weldability testing and calculations according to standards.
- Collaboration with international teams, as well as with suppliers and customers in all project phases from planning to installation.
- Communication and coordination with external structural engineers regarding review and approval of structural analysis.
- Calculation of pipe stresses
- Continuous updating of structural analysis standards
- Active participation in standardization
- Further activities to be defined upon the evolution of Ovivo's business.
- Technical education in the field of civil engineering.
- Several years of experience as a Structural Steel Engineer in the industrial sector Oil&Gas, Power, Water Treatment.
- Very good knowledge of InfoGraph and Hilti PROFIS.
- Good knowledge of standards like IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ASME, ASTM, EC 1990, EC 1991, EC1992, EC1993, EC1998
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), German is an advantage.
- Independent, responsible, and structured way of working.
- Unlimited and unrestricted work permit for Austria is required (for non-EU citizens: please attach to the application)
- Willingness to travel internationally, if necessary.
