- Research achievements and publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings; obtaining a postdoctoral qualification ("Habilitation") is explicitly desired

- Completed diploma/master's degree and doctorate in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related fields of engineering
- Skills to develop and teach courses in German
- Several years of relevant postdoctoral research and teaching experience
- Ideally, experience and skills in the following areas: (i) Electronic circuit technology (particularly discrete analog circuits), (ii) acoustic sensors, piezoelectric materials, design, and simulation, (iii) modeling (including multiphysics), application of existing codes, and development of numerical and analytical models, (iv) signal processing (especially measurement and sensor data processing), (v) sound knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering and engineering electrodynamics
- Very good German and English skills (German: C1, English: B2)
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 4,932.90 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
