Expected start: November 2025.Tasks:
Research on heterogeneous catalysts for sustainable production of fuels and chemicals, with emphasis on electrification strategies for catalytic reactors
Characterization of solid catalysts
Performing kinetic studies in lab scale test reactors and derivation of reaction mechanisms
Experiment planning and data evaluation
Participation and handling of courses in English and German
Supervision of interns, Bac and MSc students
Writing a dissertation and creation of scientific publications and presentations
Your profile:
Relevant, completed diploma or master’s degree in chemical engineering, technical chemistry or physical chemistry (focus on catalysis) or an equivalent university degree in Austria or abroad.
Laboratory experience in the field of reaction kinetics, synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials
Experience with IR spectroscopy and gas analysis through gas chromatography
Willingness to support interns, Bac and MSc students.
Excellent command of English in speaking and writing
German and English language skills at B2 level
