As our new Staff Engineer Digital Physical Design, you'll help shape the next generation of secure, high-performance SoCs through cutting-edge layout and physical design strategies. Chip in and apply now!In your new role, you will contribute to the development of high-performance and secure SoC designs, supporting the full digital physical design flow from RTL to GDSIIYour new responsibilities at a glance:
  • Contribute to designing state-of-the-art complex SoCs in a multi-site setup, focusing on all aspects of Physical SoC Design
  • Drive hierarchical floorplanning, placement, clock tree generation, routing, and power distribution for efficient timing closure and sign-off
  • Collaborate closely with a team of layout experts throughout all RTL2GDS phases, ensuring first-time-right silicon
  • Support methodology improvements and tool flow optimization for enhanced productivity and scalability
  • Share expertise and drive innovation as a member of our internal expert network
  • Act as a technical interface to internal and external stakeholders to align physical design strategies across teams
You are a detail-oriented team player who enjoys solving technical challenges and sharing knowledge. You bring a solid background in SoC physical design and a passion for creating innovative, scalable chip layouts.Your toolkit for success includes:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in SoC Physical Design
  • Solid expertise in floorplanning, place & route, clock tree synthesis, and sign-off verification
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • A drive for innovation and continuous improvement in physical design methodologies
  • Full working proficiency in English; German is a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.Contact:
