- Guide teams in applying Scrum/Agile principles and practices to deliver high-quality products
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and self-organization
- Resolve conflicts and impediments that may hinder team progress
- Mentor and support team members in Agile best practices
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and transparent
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates on progress
- Possess a solid understanding of software development practices, system architecture, and technical dependencies
- Facilitate discussions between technical teams to resolve blockers and ensure alignment
- Collaborate effectively with Developers and QA to ensure technical feasibility and quality
- Track and report on team performance metrics like velocity, cycle time, and sprint burndown
- Identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement
- Support Agile transformation efforts across the organization
- Work with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and consistency in Agile practices
- Proactively Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or issues impacting team performance or delivery timelines
- Drive retrospectives and ensure actionable outcomes are implemented
- Encourage experimentation and learning to enhance team efficiency and innovation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
- In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in understanding APIs, or microservices is a plus
- Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead and mentor Agile teams
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify impediments and implement solutions effectively
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and facilitate discussions among technical teams
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple teams or complex projects in dynamic environments
- Collaboration: Skilled at working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in large-scale Agile teams or working with distributed teams
- Familiarity with frameworks like SAFe, LeSS
- Hands-on experience in software development or IT project management
