- Supervision and execution of R&D projects in the field of enzymatic/physical/chemical/biotechnological processes, analyses, fermentations, including project planning and management in coordination with the project team and stakeholders
- Examination of the quality, properties, and applicability of products/by-products
- Contribution and generation of ideas, internal and external knowledge exchange through literature research, trade fair visits, participation in conferences, etc., as well as contact with universities and research institutes
- Planning, execution, and implementation of investigations on a laboratory, pilot, and industrial scale
- Participation in national and international events and building networks with potential research and industry partners
- Close collaboration with production sites and sales teams for production and process optimization, as well as technical customer support within the AGRANA Group
- Evaluation and documentation of results, preparation of protocols and reports, and presentation of findings to internal and external clients
- Point of contact for production sites and sales regarding product and production optimization, as well as technical customer support within the AGRANA Group
- Support of industrial-scale trials at production sites
- Preparation of protocols, reports, and funding applications, as well as presentation of results to internal and external clients
- Completed studies (university or university of applied sciences) in the field of food and/or biotechnology or a related area
- Ideally, several years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge in the field of food sciences
- Team player, flexible, and capable of working precisely and independently
- Open and communicative personality with a passion for research
- Very good command of German and English
- Willingness to travel to our national and international subsidiaries, and a class B driver’s license
