Learn about the which makes everything possible.The In-house Applications Support Specialist is responsible for coordination between internal groups and external contractors/vendors to provide effective support for the Field Applications and Sales Teams.This position reports to the Global Applications Director and is part of the Liquid Handling Applications team located in Vienna, Austria and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Pair up with sales/Field Applications team for pre-sales presentations and serve as scientific and technical resource
  • Plan and execute product demonstrations for potential customers
  • Understand the scope of customer projects and be able to support customer workflows
  • Lead equipment calibration, servicing, and validation methods while ensuring prompt repairs and minimal disruption
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, risk assessments, and clear data reporting for internal and external stakeholders
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • University degree in biological sciences, biotechnology or a related field
  • Background and +2 years' experience in Life sciences
  • Knowledge transfer skills and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated with a high level of organization
  • Language skills: Fluency in English is required for this role, any other additional European language is beneficial
  • Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to travel – up to 20% overnight domestic and international travel
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Knowledge or experience of liquid Handlers is an advantage
  • Previous Scripting or Programming knowledge is desirable

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
