This position is based in our office in Salzburg.General Accountant (m/w/d)Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local GAAP and US GAAP for the Dentsply Sirona Austria GmbH in collaboration with Global Booking Service
  • Monthly preparation of manual journal entries (e.g. accruals) and on time reporting into Hyperion
  • Project involvement SAP S/4 go live
  • Ensure correct implementation of SoX and CFAM policies as well as compliance with legal requirements
  • External reporting (e.g. ÖNB, Statistik Austria)
  • Serve as contact person for internal and external auditors
Requirements:
  • Completed business education, Accountant certification (“Bilanzbuchhalter/in”)
  • Several years of excellent track record in Accounting with a large global organization, preferably with a publicly traded company
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and policies; US GAAP, SOX and high-level understanding of local statutory rules and regulations (UGB)
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills in German and English
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP (Hyperion and SAP)
