As part of our Invoice Team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial processes run smoothly, supporting our suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to keep our operations efficient and reliable.In this role, you won’t just be checking numbers, you’ll be connecting with colleagues across departments, resolving issues with international partners, and contributing to process improvements that help zooplus maintain its high standards. Review and carry out detailed inspections of all incoming goods invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
Clarify differences and resolve ambiguities directly with contacts from our German- and English-speaking suppliers and carriers
Handle issues promptly and process all specific queries relating to sales and accounting
Maintain close communication with our Purchasing, Replenishment, Logistics, and Accounting departments
Support the processing of complaints, ensuring timely and fair resolutions
Assist with month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, contributing to smooth financial reporting
Identify and suggest opportunities to streamline processes within the Invoice Team
Qualifications
Completed business or commercial education, or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in a commercial role, business administration, or auditing, ideally in mail order or e-commerce
Excellent numeracy skills with a precise, proactive, and solution-oriented work style
Confident in using MS Office and modern communication tools
Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and German
A team player who enjoys working with people from different cultures and departments
Additional InformationThis role is paying an annual base salary of 35k - 45k euro per annum.With more than 1,000 passionate professionals located across 6 European offices, we believe our success comes from working together and leveraging our international strengths.
