Established in 2007, the Company is today committed to offer value added services and expertise to its Customers and to support them to carry-out their projects, design, erect, commission and operate their plants and facilities.We are seeking an experienced Technical & Commercial Translator for one of our prestigious client projects in Europe. The successful candidate will work on translating complex technical, commercial and promotional materials between English, German and Russian, ensuring accuracy, cultural sensitivity and alignment with engineering and business standards. This role is based in Austria and may involve close collaboration with multinational teams, including Uzbek stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately translate engineering documents, including: Technical drawings, schematics, analysis reports, patents, instruction manuals, contracts, and purchase orders
  • Translate and adapt company promotional materials for international audiences: Website content, brochures, catalogs, and presentations
  • Localize English-language technical documents and marketing materials for Russian and Uzbek markets
  • Compile and manage specialized glossaries of technical and scientific terms
  • Conduct in-depth research to ensure the accurate translation of highly technical or culturally sensitive content
  • Proofread and edit translations for grammar, tone, style, and clarity; ensure consistency with original meaning and technical accuracy
  • Review and provide feedback on translated documents produced by other translators
  • Identify and explain language or conceptual differences in international transactions and communications
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in the use of technical terminology across all documents
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical/commercial translation role
  • C2 proficiency in English and German is mandatory; fluency in Russian is highly desirable
  • Strong command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to relocate to Austria for the project duration
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
Location: Austria
Employment Type: Full-Time
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract – renewable
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (8*5)
