- Support Head of Group M&A by independently leading M&A transactions with support of wider M&A team and OMV Group functions.
- Close cooperation with OMV business development teams to identify suitable targets as well as own origination and deal identification activities.
- Responsible for M&A concept, purchase price mechanism, potential deal structure, first analysis of impacts on OMV, plan/project management and project plan & steering of the resources.
- Leading the M&A deal team and nominating & steering the workstream leads, due diligence, valuation, business plan reviews and financial analysis for acquisition opportunities.
- Responsible for tailor-made large-scale valuations.
- Representation of OMV in negotiation for new strategic partnerships & for development of strategic projects, e.g. projects in connection with M&A as a preparation for next relevant M&A activities.
- Responsible for analyzing and valuating acquisition & disposal targets - performing valuations, business plan reviews and financial analysis and acting as interface to Finance organization as well as to Investor Relations and Communication.
- Identify financial issues & initiate solutions with Finance Management & with Group Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Tax etc.
- Concept, steer & take decisions with interfaces for M&A activities related to within OMV Group, e.g. Accounting, Tax, Treasury etc.
- Support for effectively coordinating Executive Board & Supervisory Board applications & information processes.
- You have a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
- You have minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Provides unique combination of excellent knowledge in M&A, Corporate Finance & Project Finance, Tax, IFRS, Accounting along with entrepreneurial spirit, Leadership and motivation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex situations and translate financial information in a comprehensive way to stakeholders.
- Very high individual responsibility in generation and validation of sensitive corporate figures.
- Excellent communication and management skills, English language at professional level and German a plus but not mandatory.
