This senior leadership role is responsible for managing liquidity, short-term investments, and funding strategies, with full P&L ownership and a focus on money market trading as an asset class.
As part of the Group Treasury Markets Department within the Division of Group Markets, the unit operates across seven countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and others.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement money market strategies aligned with financial objectives
  • Oversee short-term liquidity management across all currencies (in coordination with Group ALM)
  • Manage short-term market risk positions including Bonds, T-bills, FX swaps, interest rate swaps, loans, and deposits
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and industry standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., central banks, interbank counterparties)
  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to inform decision-making and adjust strategies
  • Drive process improvements and leverage financial technologies for operational efficiency
Your Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial markets, ideally with direct trading and P&L responsibility
  • Proven leadership capabilities in cross-border, multicultural environments; willingness to travel
  • Strong understanding of money market products and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent English skills; knowledge of CEE languages is a plus
  • Ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 60.000,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
