Expected start: November 2025.Tasks:
  • Collaboration on research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
  • Cooperation and guidance of students
  • Research and project activity
  • Writing a dissertation and publications
  • Participation in scientific events
  • Assistance/Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks
Your profile:
  • Completion of a master or diploma curriculum in one of these fields: Computer Science/Informatics, Data Science, Business Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Computational Social Science or related disciplines
  • Desired: Knowledge of machine learning, experimental design, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing, with experience in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of OR interest in these areas: 1) computational user modelling, personalization techniques, and/or recommender systems; 2) theories and models of social science and society impact of technology; 3) user research and quantitative/qualitative social science research methods (e.g., experimental economics, media effects research, political behaviour)
  • Very good skills in German and English communication and writing
  • Interest in research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
  • Very good communicative skills and team competences and innovative ability
