Expected start: November 2025.Tasks:
Collaboration on research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
Cooperation and guidance of students
Research and project activity
Writing a dissertation and publications
Participation in scientific events
Assistance/Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks
Your profile:
Completion of a master or diploma curriculum in one of these fields: Computer Science/Informatics, Data Science, Business Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Computational Social Science or related disciplines
Desired: Knowledge of machine learning, experimental design, statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing, with experience in programming languages such as Python or R
Knowledge of OR interest in these areas: 1) computational user modelling, personalization techniques, and/or recommender systems; 2) theories and models of social science and society impact of technology; 3) user research and quantitative/qualitative social science research methods (e.g., experimental economics, media effects research, political behaviour)
Very good skills in German and English communication and writing
Interest in research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
Very good communicative skills and team competences and innovative ability
