
Human Factors & System Safety Engineer (all genders)

- Planning and implementation of human factors (HF) & system safety programs to accompany product development
- Planning and implementation of human factors & system safety programs for international customers as a basis for the respective national safety approval
- Direct contact person for human factors & system safety-related aspects for our customers and, if necessary, also for authorities in the context of international projects
- Processing of quotations with regard to specific HF & system safety requirements
- Review of international regulations and standard requirements for their applicability to Frequentis products and, based on this, continuous further development of HF methods
- Supporting the Frequentis Group's global subsidiaries in defining and implementing HF programs
- Conducting and participating in internal and external audits
- Conducting internal training courses as part of the company-wide Safety Academy
- Representing the company in international expert groups and professional circles, e.g., CANSO, EASA, ISSS
- Degree in STEM, human factors engineering, industrial design, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a safety-related field, systems engineering, or software development as a human factors engineer or in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of human behavior, ergonomics, and user-centered design principles
- Experience with human factors-related analyses and methods (e.g., HRA, HF Case, heuristic evaluation) for identifying and mitigating potential safety risks in human-system interactions
- Experience with international standards for HF/ergonomics and software UI design, e.g., ISO 11064, ISO 9241, and preferably also with EU regulations.
- Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
- Strong teamwork skills
