As a (Senior) Software Engineer for Sports Data (m/f/d) at Sportradar, you will work on various parts of the software stack, contributing to API development, testing and documentation. You’ll be part of a collaborative cross-functional team and play a crucial role in delivering quality software that provides business value. - Contribute and grow as part of a small, self-organised, agile software development team
- Build robust and scalable back-end services and APIs for our advertising technologies using modern frameworks and tools
- Participate in designing and developing reliable, secure, and efficient data pipelines and systems while keeping your focus on quality, observability, and security
- Coach and develop team members by providing feedback and technical guidance
- 4+ years of professional experience in agile software development
- Professional experience developing in at least one high-level programming language
- Professional experience with back-end related technologies such as Go, Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
- Passion for clean code and testing
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Keen interest in new technologies and learning
- Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Enjoy helping other engineers on your team to improve their skills (development and soft skills)
- Take ownership, proactively lead changes and improvements to best practices and code-base
- Are a full stack developer with a focus on backend development
