Job profile:Your tasks:
  • Independent research activities in the field of experimental building design and construction, computer-aided methods, analogue-digital production, hybrid processes. Acquisition, supervision and management of third-party funded projects, participation in ongoing research projects of the working group.
  • Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
  • Supervision of students incl. supervision of bachelor theses
  • Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures, collaboration in public relations work.
  • Training and further education through participation in conferences, congresses and other specialised training courses
Your profile:
  • Completed master's or diploma degree in architecture, completed relevant doctoral or PhD programme
  • Professional aptitude and ability for scientific work and its creative realisation
  • Interest in integrative research topics
  • Knowledge of contemporary architectural discourses, especially with regard to the combination of conceptual design and building construction practice, strong skills in computer-aided methods and hybrid technologies/processes (analogue/digital production; top-down/bottom-up)
  • Proven experience in research, third-party funding management, proposal writing, teaching and university administration
  • Strong sensitivity for design
  • Very good command of German and English
  • Above-average commitment and ability to work in a team, as well as resilience and a sense of responsibility; communication skills; pedagogical skills, creative problem-solving skills and ability to motivate students;
